Nice experience in Sapporo.
The room is small but cozy. Although the staffs can’t speak English very well, the service is great.
Some staffs with foreign language skills can be involved in the receptionists.

What would you highlight about Marks Inn Sapporo
A hotel convenient to city and shuttle bus to Chitose airport
the hotel was closer to the city and also walking distance to shuttle bus to airport. There was a temple ( shin aiji) closer to the hotel which we visited and the Nakajima park we visited had a nice scenic beauty.
The wifi was disturbed very often without continuous connection. The breakfast was very basic The hotel room did not have Ceylon tea or English tea , only green tea. The staff did not understand much English.

Sapporo is a good introduction to Japan, highly recommended.
Good location, close to subway line, quiet area.
Tiny rooms, staff speak very little English and very few tourist leaflets in English. Rooms are very dated - like stepping back to the 70's. The room was also very cold with no way to heat it up.

Good and convenient, simple and functional.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Ease of communication. Prompt attention to requests.
Room space. It's too cramped, like a Tokyo small hotel. We stayed at a same level hotel in Narita and it was quite spacious for the same price.
